Grosjean Fireball 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix
On November 29, 2020, Romain Grosjean escaped what was close to being a fatal accident at the Bahrain Grand Prix. The French driver made contact with the AlphaTauri of Daniil Kvyat on the opening lap and broke through the track barrier at close to 120 miles per hour.
The car was immediately broken in two and erupted into a ball of flames.
Grosjean was trapped in the flaming car for 28 seconds before freeing himself from the constraints inside the cockpit, he hoisted himself out of the fire and climbed over the guardrail to safety.

Terrifying Moto2 Crash 2020 during the Austrian Grand Prix

SVG Crashes 2017 Bathurst 12hr
Tensions exploded at Mount Panorama in the 2017 Bathurst 12hr with Scott Taylor Motorsport driver Maro Engel launching a scathing verbal assessment of his teammate Shane van Gisbergen. Engel was visibly upset by the crash which ruled the #22 Mercedes-Benz GT3 out of the race while running second outright, and in serious contention for victory.

Alonso Crash Australian F1 GP 2016
Alonso hit the rear of Esteban Gutierrez's Haas while attempting an overtake at over 300km/h on the run down to Albert Park's Turn 3. The collision saw him slam into the trackside wall before his car flipped into the gravel trap at the end of the straight. Alonso walked away from the accident with nothing more than a rib fracture, underlining the safety of modern Formula One cars.
